When I was growing up one of my favorite thing was to be the one with " la feve" in my " Galette des Rois", what people in New Orleans call King's Cake during Mardi Gras! Finding "la feve" meant that you get to wear the crown.
This year I am taking inspiration from this childhood memory and instead of a celebration that last just a few weeks mine will last year long.
Every month in the course of this year there will be one or more random cowries hidden in our customers' Shea butter soufflé. If you are one of the ones to find a cowry in your jar, you will be crowned Queen/King of the month, following month and will be entitled to a free gift.
If you happen to win more than one cowry in the course of the year we will do something special for you.
To participate you have to order some one our Shea butter soufflé and let us know should you find a cowry in your jar.
We will have more giveaway in the course of the year but I intend for this one to become a new Nakivoire tradition.
