It is priceless but all around you,
Nature’s secrets to design beauty on its terms,
In myriad ways, as the lens captures those images
of breathtaking signatures, each with its own flourish!
The rocky start that holds its own secrets,
Reveals to those with the patience and fortitude,
Braving the climb up the hidden and steep slopes,
Of the mountain that mists with the cloud in pure joy!
And that slippery terrain that never seems to end,
Though foliage, shrubs, and untouched vegetation,
Leads to the thunderous applause heard for posterity,
As gravity teases the raging water to show its might, falling off the cliff.
As the smell of wet earth wafts with the light breeze,
Nature's commitment to the pleasures we forget to enjoy,
Reminding us of how vegetation, left free, decides its own cycle of life,
Uninterrupted, untethered, and unaware of the beauty it feeds.
These natural pleasures, wonderfully orchestrated in black and white,
Are the reasons it becomes simple to answer
the question about who represents our planet the best.
The stylish, breathtaking, and un-curated beauty nature embodies is the only choice.
Take time to admire the natural and the unclaimed,
The treasures that have not taken a toll due to human insolence and greed,
And preserve those sights that can never be recreated,
Since nature’s beauty is never known to repeat itself.
Is it any wonder that nobody outside or within our known universe,
Has never ever cared to reach out to us?
They probably are having a continued love affair with nature,
And those timeless words and passionate sighs continue to elude our senses forever.

As a nature photographer and preservationist, I love Patri's line " the treasures that have not taken a toll due to human insolence and greed, and preserve those sights that can never be recreated since nature's beauty is never known to repeat itself."
When I wrote my award-winning book The Art of Rooting, I was greatly inspired by the forest and body of water that I intentionally visited for thirty-nine days in a row as a way to connect with nature's beauty and benefit from the virtue of "forest-bathing" and eco-therapy. Visiting the same forest for 39 days in a row, I can certainly attest that nature's beauty never repeats itself. It's a sentiment I expressed within my bilingual poem:La forêt et ses mystères! "Forest Bathing" which you can enjoy on YouTube:(2) " Forest Bathing" by N'Nako Kandé. - YouTube
"It’s amazing
To think of it
Of every day passing
And of every time I am passing
A tree while hiking
Because a tree may be in the same place
Everyday
But every day is never the same
And never ends the exact same way."
